Our shower water leaked onto the breakfast food in the room below. Ha Ha.
Yes, I will be wearing sunglasses all day, I havn’t dared to open the blinds and even the light peeking in is burning my retinas. I probably drank one and 1/2 bottles of wine last night while at a private art opening. Norma nearly killed me by way of poles and laughter and I lost the coloring contest to Norma’s perfect shading skills:
REad Norma’s blog for I havn’t the patience to write it all out right now but I will give credit where it’s due—Backrow Mafia is Mr. Milano’s old band, i just ended up spitting that out when our classmates asked us what the hell was going on in the back row & it stuck so we made a sign. Misfits because we are the youngins, but according to Ruth I know too much for my age.

New things:
1. My brother graduated from the University of Miami with a BA in Marine Affairs & a Minor in Business Management.
2. It is hot and humid in Miami
3. Stamps now cost 41 cents
4. I missed my flight from Miami to Dallas, which put me on standby for my connection flight to Albequerque, but due to ‘weather’ the night before a bunch of flights were canceled leaving me without a way to get to New Mexico…until Norma, my saviour got me a flight from Love Airport (fitting isn’t it) which will cost me another $170, but it’s ok, cuz I’m here now.
5. It is much colder here in SAnta Fe than I thought it would be and so all the tank tops I brought are in the closet….
6. I forgot to mention that I won a poker game that allowed me to pay the taxi driver who took me from DFW to Love.
7. There are way too many galleries here
8. Norma & I drank 2 bottles of wine last night which lead to an interesting drive back to the monestary where we are staying with the Carmelite nuns (google it, they don’t speak)
9. Gotta watch lost tomorrow on the computer because I can’t watch it tonight.
10. The air here is clean and wax smells good……woo.
